Mississauga, ON – February 21, 2026 – The Mississauga Chargers proudly hosted their Senior Night on Saturday, celebrating graduating players whose leadership, commitment, and passion have helped shape the team’s identity both on and off the ice.
Family, friends, and fans gathered to recognize five players whose dedication has made a lasting impact on the Chargers organization.
#4 Massimo Neri: A Mississauga native, Neri has served as team captain for the second consecutive season. A respected leader in the dressing room and a steady presence on the ice, he leaves behind a legacy of professionalism, accountability, and pride in the Chargers crest.

#5 Jace Cranston: The New York native joined the Chargers this season after playing in Buffalo. Known for his physical presence and disciplined defensive play, Cranston quickly became a reliable force on the blue line.

#9 Spencer Hughes: Another Mississauga product, Hughes joined the team from Trenton and emerged as one of the club’s most dangerous offensive threats. Recording 57 points in 41 games, he has committed to continue his hockey and academic career at Norwich University (NCAA Division III).

#10 Isaiah Socha: In his first OJHL season, the Santa Clarita, California native appeared in 51 games, producing 22 points. Socha’s speed and determination in puck battles made him a valuable contributor throughout the season.

#33 Avery Alves: Joining the Chargers from the Niagara Falls Canucks, Alves provided confidence and consistency in goal. With 13 wins and a .900 save percentage, he established himself as a focused and dependable presence between the pipes.

Senior Night serves as a reminder of the lasting impact these players have made on the Chargers community. The organization thanks them for their dedication and proudly supports them as they take the next steps in their hockey and academic journeys.
